NCVT COURSE

Training under Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) of Directorate General of Training (DGT),  Government of India is given in the following NCVT affiliated Engineering trades. The aim of the training in the CTS ITI course is to equip trainees for suitable industrial employment, self-employment or entry to higher technical education like Diploma in Engineering.

Students (male only) who have passed class X examination are trained here in seven different trades viz. Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Turner and Welder. Welder trade is also open for admission to candidates who have passed class eight.

The course duration is two years except Welder which is a one-year course. The academic session commences from August every year.

Electrician

IMPORTANT : –

  • Fees once paid are not refundable. Any student disqualified from appearing at the final examination owing to non-maintenance of required attendance percentage or for disciplinary issues or for any other reason, or if he is discharged from the Institute for any reason or if he discontinues his studies on his own, will not be entitled to get course completion certificate and / or refund of any fees.

  • The Institute reserves the right to nominally change the rate of the fees as indicated above at any time, as may be considered necessary due to unavoidable circumstances in future.
  • SCHOLARSHIPS : Up to 50 scholarships can be provided to support financially weak students, on completion of first year of training, after considering their academic performance in the first year, regular attendance, good behavior and discipline.
